Congrats to The Phoenix Foundation for getting awesome press in Europe for 'Buffalo'

Wow,

My good friends The Phoenix Foundation, are doing really well in the UK with The Guardian naming them as one of the best of 2011 and giving them 5 stars! Whoop!

PS Conrad from The Phoenix Foundation is the other half of Little Bark, just FYI

Hope is Rubbery album named Best of 2010!

Simon Sweetman from NZ's leading music blog names my album as one of the BEST OF 2010!

Awesome reviews of Hope is Rubbery!

Check out these awesome reviews!

“Curious, fantastical songs..like falling through clouds. ” Nick Bollinger, Radio New Zealand

“One CD covers five songs of one persona, Little Bark, in an unashamed nod to 80s synth pop. The other, under her own name, is lyrically driven indie-pop”
- Dominion Post

“What I liked about the album was the confidence - from when I first heard it I knew I was listening to an artist prepared to take risks, prepared to polarise.”
-Simon Sweetman, Blog on the Tracks

"the first side of the album… highlights her whimsical vocals, resulting in a dreamy, yet expressive set of songs. With Little Bark taking the helm, the second mix of songs turns deliciously poppy and sugary sweet" - NZ Musician

No news is good news....

It has been awhile since I have posted anything here because things have been mad awesome. Got creative new zealand funding to go on tour in 2011 for both islands! (i will traverse two!), played a cool gig on NYE for A Low Hum , got AMAZING reviews of my album, got a full band of cool dudes (I love leading man band!). Played to 1000 people at the Weta Christmas Party. GOT a manager (Julie Warmington) and heaps of cool new shit happening (vids and MORE). I will keep ya posted!
